Cardamom & White Chocolate

The white chocolate coating is thick and creamy, and the ground cardamom seeds sneak up on you in the best way. I was nervous about the toasted rice, but it just adds a subtle, toasty crunch that keeps things interesting. Finished the whole bar in one sitting.

I was nervous about the cardamom but it’s actually subtle and warm, letting the toasted rice and ground almonds do the heavy lifting. The white chocolate on top is creamy and not too sweet, and the whole thing has a nice chewy texture from the syrup base.

The toasted rice gives it a lovely crunchy texture against the smooth white chocolate, and the cardamom is subtle enough that it feels warm rather than spicy. Took me a couple of bites to get used to the chewiness of the syrup base, but now I’m already planning my next order.
