The chocolate shell snaps with a proper 55% cocoa bitterness, which balances the gooey, treacle-heavy center perfectly. I had to stop myself from eating the whole slab in one sitting—the toasted rice bits add just enough crunch to keep it interesting.
The Belgian chocolate shell has that nice snap to it, and the toasted rice inside gives a subtle crunch that keeps it from being too one-note. The date and treacle combo is properly sticky and rich, like a pudding you can eat in two bites. I’m already planning my next order.
