The heat sneaks up on you after the chocolate melts, which makes the cayenne sprinkle really fun. The 55% Belgian chocolate is rich and smooth, and the bag being home compostable is a nice bonus.
I was skeptical about chocolate with cayenne, but the heat hits just after the 55% Belgian chocolate melts, and it's such a clever balance. The discs are hand-piped so they look almost too pretty to eat, though I've already demolished half the bag.
The compostable packaging was a nice surprise, and the discs themselves are beautifully piped. That 55% Belgian chocolate is rich, but the cayenne sprinkle gives it a warm, tingly finish that makes you want another piece.
