Cherry & Almond

I wasn't expecting the toasted rice to add that much crunch, but it really balances the dense chocolate and chewy cherries nicely. The almond flakes give it that proper bakewell vibe without being overpowering, and the whole thing's rich enough that one piece is genuinely enough for a sweet craving.

The glacé cherries are the star here—soft and sticky against that rich cocoa syrup, and the toasted rice keeps every bite interesting. It’s basically a cherry bakewell in chocolate form, which is exactly what I hoped for.

The toasted rice gives it this lovely crunch that plays off the soft, sticky cherry pieces, and the chocolate syrup is rich without being sickly. I've already ordered a second batch to keep in the cupboard for when I need a proper sweet fix.
